Learn within the largest healthcare system in New York City. With a Master's of Public Health (MPH) from Mount Sinai, you'll translate knowledge into action to solve our generation’s most pressing public health issues. With eight specialty track options and an interdisciplinary focus, you'll graduate prepared to serve in a variety of roles and settings, including public health practice, government agencies, industry, academia, and the nonprofit sector.

The MPH program is a 45-credit, two-year, competency-based training fully accredited by the Council on Education for Public Health.  It is also STEM/OPT eligible. In addition to choosing a specialty track, students gain culminating and applied practice experience.

Master of Public Health (MPH) tuition is the same for all students, regardless of citizenship or residency.

My time as a Mount Sinai MPH student helped broaden my perspective of public health. I began to see public health as a societal driver and highly intersectional and interdisciplinary. This is important for us to acknowledge in the nonprofit sector as we need to do a better job of partnering with each other, data-sharing, and developing comprehensive, wraparound programs for our constituents.
